This 2012 Audi commercial song is called “Modern Drift” by Efterklang. It is the first track from the Danish post-rock band’s 2010 album Magic Chairs. The cinematic piano intro leading into the feel-good indie sound pairs well with the inspirational technology/progress theme of the commercial. And the lyrics are a bit abstract (“I can’t keep my head inside”), but the title “Modern Drift” also goes along with these themes. The commercial ends with the narration “driving progress is what we do everyday”–nice double meaning there!
