This 2012 Body by Victoria commercial song is called “Settle Down” by Kimbra. Hey, I’d settle down with any one of these models but I don’t get the impression that’s exactly what they’re looking to do flaunting around in their lingerie! Okay, okay, I take it back. The model pictured in the middle here, Candice Swanepoel, has apparently been dating the same dude for several years (also a model, go figure). The other two models in the commercial are Lais Ribeiro and Bregje Heinen, and as far as I know they’re probably spoken for too. Anyway, there are no lyrics in this 15 second spot, so there really are no implications on that front. Just some cool “hey!” and “bo bo” vocal sounds that add to the overall sexiness in this context. The song came out a few years ago and has a pretty rad music video that you should check out if you aren’t one of the 19 million or so who have seen it on youtube (I hate to admit it–I wasn’t!). But it’s even more likely that you’ve heard Kimbra singing the female part of the summer’s smash hit “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye. After hearing that song so much I think I prefer this one!
