We came across this Jason Collett song in the Hope Springs trailer, which we posted recently, so we thought we would post this short Buick spot that uses it as well. The 2012 Buick Verano commercial song is “Love Is A Dirty Word,” and if you look closely you’ll notice it’s actually listed on the dashboard music player within the commercial. There seems to be quite a bit of youtube hate around the commercial (66 likes/419 dislikes), but we like the song. We really dig the catchy bass line and initially thought it might be something from a trendier band like Peter Bjorn and John, but Collett has been around just as long as them so we’re glad he’s getting some milage out of this song (pun intended)!
