We had a lot of people looking for the song in the last Heineken commercial, and we don’t think this new one will disappoint either! This 2012 Heineken commercial song is called “Love Letter” by Clairy Browne & The Bangin’ Rackettes, an Australian artist/group who are featured in the commercial. It has a retro soul revival sound that fits with the whole undercover/spy sort of feel in the ad. The commercial begins with three guys walking into an empty, run-down bar; only one of whom seems to know what is about to happen. As the bartender begins to clean a Heineken glass, he pulls lever that begins to transform the bar into a swanky, sleek club. A band performs on a stage that folds out of the wall, hidden rooms are revealed with a few more pretty ladies, and another wall folds down to reveal a packed dance floor. The whole process almost malfunctions as something seems to jam, but it’s up to the cool guy who knows what’s up to kick the bar and then everything’s fine.
