Have trouble remembering the names of classic John Philip Sousa marches? Us too.  This folky acoustic guitar rendition in the Hyundai Elantra commercial is “Stars and Stripes Forever.”  We’re not sure exactly who recorded this version, but it is quite similar to this arrangement of Chet Atkins playing that we found.  If you happen to know the exact version on the commercial, let us know!

      Hey Robbie, do you have a link to a recording? we could only find full-band arrangements by Jerry Reed. After doing some further research, though, it turns out Atkin’s version is based on an arrangement by Guy Van Duser–it’s mentioned in his allmusic bio.
