Earlier this month Allhiphop.com released exclusive news–there’s another Eminem lawsuit regarding his 2011 Chrysler 200 commercial. Last time around, Eminem’s publishing company sued Audi for copyright infringement of his song, “Lose Yourself.” This time Eminem is the one having a lawsuit brought against him.
Allhiphop.com reports that the (handwritten) lawsuit is bring brought by Stephen Lee Pieck, a currently homeless man in New York state. Pieck alleges that he was out to eat with Christina Aguilera when she called Eminem and handed Pieck the phone. During that call he shared his ideas for the commercial, including the idea to feature shots of Detroit. The lawsuit is viewable at Allhiphop.
Do you think this is legit? It sounds a little crazy and we cannot find any mention of Stephen Pieck online outside of this news even though his lawsuit mentions he has previously written songs for Rihanna. That said, the press seems to be reporting the story without insinuating that the guy is mad, though many sites are mentioning that he is homeless.
