There’s no church in the wild and there’s no one telling Dodge they have to adhere to the laws of reality (Detroit is pretty wild from what I hear). The Dodge Dart commercial song is only the instrumental version of “No Church in the Wild” by Jay-Z and Kanye West, but the “New Rules” caption at the end of the commercial does tie into the sentiment of the song in some respect. Their new rules are apparently that they can create a time machine and find someone from the future to design their technology; Kanye’s are something about him being able to sleep with whoever he wants without apologizing for it. Hey, whatever gets your engine running, I suppose. Lyrics and meaning aside, the track does have a very cool, dark, foreboding sound that makes you think someone’s about to get away with doing something awesome. Something like… making the most hi-tech car! Or throwing a raging party in the roaring 20s?
