This Google Chrome commercial song that begins with the lyrics “Sorry about those things I said before” is called “Porch Song” by the band The Meemies from their 2008 EP – The Meemies. The intimate apology at the beginning works perfectly for introducing this story of Mark Potter trying to reconcile his failed relationship with Jen. Of course he does so by asking “Can we meet for Coffee” in gmail and then using various Google tools like Google Docs, Youtube videos, Google Translate, and Google Maps to go through their good memories as evidence that they should be back together. It’s either sweet or creepy depending on how you look at it, but either way we dig the song!
