We watched The Devil and Daniel Johnston this weekend. Great documentary–highly recommended. It tells the story of a man’s rise to fame in the indie rock scene while dealing with severe mental illness. Turns out a few of his songs were in commercials. Lucky us! This commercial is for Migros, a Swiss food co-op. This Migros commercial shows a woman pushing a shopping cart all over the place, including up a hill, as the song “Impossible” byDaniel Johnston plays. We assume it was filmed in Switzerland. The lyrics to the song are “It’s impossible. Can’t make my mind up. You’re impossible. You can’t make your mind up. It’s impossible. But I wish it were so.”
