You might recognize this mellow Project X trailer song that was popular in 2009…at first, and then it goes crazy! It is a remix of Kid Cudi‘s “Pursuit of Happiness” and is very fitting for this Instagram-y trailer for the movie Project X. We hadn’t heard of the flick before, but it’s about some high school kid that throws a party while his parents are out of town.
“Pursuit of Happiness” is originally by Kid Cudi and is remixed here by Steve Aoki to make it a little more dance (and high school party) appropriate. The song also features MGMT and Ratatat. Super star line-up! Click the button to download the song on iTunes:
