This is one of three Trojan commercials currently running where couples prepare to get it on with an assist from their new line of lubricants. The ads are all pretty straightforward, kissing, caressing, undressing, you get the idea. But I”m super bummed I couldn’t find an embeddable version of my favorite spot where two people are hooking up in their living room under a parachute. Who has a sex parachute? It seems kind of impractical, but hey, whatever makes them happy. This is a post 50 Shades of Grey society.
The soundtrack to all of this carnal carousing is a cover of Elvis’s classic All Shook Up from Avila. A collaboration between singer Brie Stoner and musician Daniel Johnson, Avila appears to specialize in ethereal poppy versions of beloved hits. Other songs covered by the group include I Walk the Line, Lust for Life and You’re So Vain. Their take on My Favorite Things even appeared in a 2012 Holiday campaign for Victoria’s Secret. Yes, first lingerie and now lubricant, Avila is basically Sex’s new house band. Go ahead and download their music, but don”t say we didn’t warn you.
My hands are shaky and my knees are weak
I can’t seem to stand on my own two feet
Who do you thank when you have such luck?
I’m in love, I’m all shook up
